Anthony Andriola

Anthony "Andy" Andriola was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was among the first group of men from Nutley drafted into service in January 1941. He served as a technical sergeant with the 9th Medical Battalion, participating in eight major campaigns, including North Africa; the D-Day invasion at Normandy; the Battle of the Bulge, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service, and the invasion of Sicily.
